Notes of Orange and Caramel

Vanessa Valle’s farm has been in her family for over one hundred years and dates back to the late 1800s. Her ancestors purchased it from a Spanish family when it was primarily a cattle farm with a small amount of coffee. Over time, coffee became the farm’s sole focus, with production growing fivefold.

Today, the farm is carefully managed throughout the year. Maintenance includes pruning the trees, treating the soil, and applying fertilizers to keep the coffee trees in peak health year-round. During harvest, ripe cherries are picked by hand. The region's seasonal rainfall, along with the farm's natural spring water, supports daily farm operations and coffee processing.

More than a century after the farm was purchased by her family, Vanessa continues its legacy through a commitment to quality and thoughtful farming.
