Notes of Floral, Caramel, and Chocolate
Laura Velaβs journey into coffee began with the influence of her grandmother, who shared stories about life on farms and the role coffee played in building her family. Those stories sparked an interest in coffee beyond the cup, rooted in people, place, and hard work.
While studying Business Management, Laura started processing coffee and testing fermentations. At first, the challenge was scale, but her work stood out. After gaining access to a lab where she could evaluate coffee more objectively, she met her business partner, EstefanΓa, an industrial engineer who had also entered coffee through her familyβs farm.
Today, they focus on producing differentiated coffees with consistent quality. They aim to create opportunities for women in coffee, especially those managing farms or working in production.
